Taormina is considered the most elegant city of Sicily, so it comes as no surprise that it is such a popular vacation spot which attracts famous celebrities from around the world. It offers unforgettable views of the sea with it’s romantic beaches framed by rocky cliffsides, with the glorious volcanic Mt. Etna looming beyond. Taormina boasts an impressive history, with its perfectly preserved Greek theater – the most famous in Italy – still actively used by theatre companies throughout the year, testimony to its ancient past.
